I have been leatherworking for approximately ten years as a hobbyist. I started my small business, Ashen Relics, to share and sell my works with the public. I have been on hiatus for over a year, but the YSU Festival of the Arts has significant meaning to me. I have been coming with my family since it was Walk on Wick and followed it to YSU, to Wean Park, and back again to campus. I also graduated from YSU.

The hides come from different suppliers like Tandy and Weaver. These are tanned and prepped at their locations and warehouses and come to me in differently sized cuts (shoulder, belly, side, etc.).
