Frances Metcalf is a printmaker who considers herself an intuitive artist, focusing on abstract art. Without formal training, she relies on experimentation when she encounters artistic challenges.  

She recently completed a 3-month Residency at the Oglebay Institute Stifel Fine Arts Center in Wheeling, WV.  Her solo exhibition, Net Working appeared at the Moss Architects Gallery in Pittsburgh, PA. 

Her work has been in juried exhibitions throughout the United States.
