Artist applications for the 2026 Summer Festival of the Arts are officially live.

Held on the park-like, urban campus of Youngstown State University, the Summer Festival of the Arts celebrates the diversity of art in the Mahoning Valley through a juried fine art and fine craft festival, live performances, and strong community engagement. The festival welcomes both regional and national artists and offers a professional, artist-friendly environment with strong volunteer support, convenient parking, and cash awards in multiple categories.

Who Should Apply?

We encourage applications from:

• Professional and emerging visual artists
• Fine craft artists and makers
• Regional and national artists interested in exhibiting in Youngstown

Artists must submit original work designed and executed by the applicant and remain onsite for the full festival weekend.
